You will coordinate scheduling in an objective manner for nursing services, plan and schedule staff for the nursing units to assure care for the residents, distribute staff appropriately throughout the facility, and ensure the staffing meets state and federal regulations.
Staffing Coordinator RequirementsHigh school diploma or equivalent is required.
Currently licensed or certified in the state practiced; Nurse Aide, Medication Aide/Tech, or Practical Nurse required.
Minimum of one year of long-term care experience required.
Strong personal organization and time management ability, with attention to detail.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office:
Excel and Word applications.
Successful completion of State Approved Certified Medication Technician and Nurse Aide Training and Competency Evaluation Program; Name must appear on State Registry as a Certified Medication Technician (CMT) in good standing.
Minimum of 2 years prior experience as a Certified Medication Aide (CMA) in a skilled nursing facility preferred but not required.
